Jordan Alexander Spieth was born on July 27th, 1993, in Dallas, Texas, United States. His parents, Shawn and Mary Christine Spieth, are both college educated and had high expectations from their children. As a young boy, Jordan was very passionate about sports, and it was at the age of four when his passion for golf began to bloom. He would play with his dad, Shawn, and his brother, Steven, on a regular basis, and his parents noticed how passionate he was about the sport. His parents enrolled him in golf lessons at the age of six, and it was then that his talent in the sport was revealed.
