The Air Jordan 2 was released in 1986 and was designed by Bruce Kilgore. It was the first Jordan sneaker to feature the Nike Swoosh, and was made with a combination of leather and synthetic materials. The sole also featured a visible air unit and an inner sleeve that was designed to keep the foot snug and comfortable. The Air Jordan 2 was later retroed in 1994, 2004, and most recently in 2016. The Air Jordan 2 was the first to feature the Nike Swoosh and is the only sneaker in the Air Jordan line to feature the symbol.
